Hey You! Don’t Give Up.. Okay?

YOUR FUTURE SELF WILL THANK YOU!

Dear Reader:

Mandy arrived around 10 and left at noon… my ” Happy Place” Christmas Decor completely put up in organized boxes …as well as we got the whole apartment re-organized … ( first time since we first arrived… so now I have a dual happy feeling … Christmas decor gone for another year and my other rooms systematically reassembled. Come with me and see! All I can say is “Less ( really) IS Best! “

Angel Tree gone but we kept my new angels to continue watching over me! If you look to the right you will see a beautiful uplifting message of hope and courage to cancer fighters on each side that Mollie gave me years ago!
New Blooms of Hope and Love continuing into the Future replacing the dead blooms!
My Favorite Corner

So until tomorrow… John 15: 4-5

Remain in me, as I also remain in you ( and together we) will bear much fruit.”

So when times get tough…remember…” Let us abide in God. Together we can bear much fruit.”

About Becky Dingle

I was born a Tarheel but ended up a Sandlapper. My grandparents were cotton farmers in Laurens, South Carolina and it was in my grandmother’s house that my love of storytelling began beside an old Franklin stove. When I graduated from Laurens High School, I attended Erskine College (Due West of what?) and would later get my Masters Degree in Education/Social Studies from Charleston Southern. I am presently an adjunct professor/clinical supervisor at CSU and have also taught at the College of Charleston. For 28 years I taught Social Studies through storytelling. My philosophy matched Rudyard Kipling’s quote: “If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten.” Today I still spread this message through workshops and presentations throughout the state. The secret of success in teaching social studies is always in the story. I want to keep learning and being surprised by life…it is the greatest teacher. Like Kermit said, “When you’re green you grow, when you’re ripe you rot.”
