Never Forget to Focus on the Happy Christmas Spirit that includes just plain FUN …

Little Pip became the spirit of Christmas for all the children at the inn… so he was included in the Children’s Christmas photo!

So glad Tommy and Kaitlyn went on to the mountains -a day later but stayed later too… it was the very best remedy after losing Schatzi so suddenly!

Pip and Kaitlyn ( happiness all over Kaitlyn’s glowing face!)
Pip became the ” ” Bell” of the Ball” with all his outfits!
Keep waiting on a Christmas cookie to show up with a meal… they are in my top favorite cookie category! 😘

Numbers Play an important role in December -the Christmas Month-both mother/ hostesses and young children especially cross off the days leading to Christmas.

Small children anxiously awaiting Christmas Eve-Santa and Christmas hostesses planning and cooking for the extended family , neighborhood or friends. Everyone has crossed off each day in anticipation and addition ….of the Holy Day!

So until tomorrow… May each day this month bring us inner warmth and expectation…

A good lesson to remember as Christmas draws nigh!
Early Christmas present- a wonderful foot stool to prop my feet on… getting homier and more comfortable watching Christmas programs and shows!!!!! 👏😍🙌

About Becky Dingle

I was born a Tarheel but ended up a Sandlapper. My grandparents were cotton farmers in Laurens, South Carolina and it was in my grandmother’s house that my love of storytelling began beside an old Franklin stove. When I graduated from Laurens High School, I attended Erskine College (Due West of what?) and would later get my Masters Degree in Education/Social Studies from Charleston Southern. I am presently an adjunct professor/clinical supervisor at CSU and have also taught at the College of Charleston. For 28 years I taught Social Studies through storytelling. My philosophy matched Rudyard Kipling’s quote: “If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten.” Today I still spread this message through workshops and presentations throughout the state. The secret of success in teaching social studies is always in the story. I want to keep learning and being surprised by life…it is the greatest teacher. Like Kermit said, “When you’re green you grow, when you’re ripe you rot.”
