Dear Reader:
Yesterday was the 20th Summerville MS Christmas Luncheon-Elizabeth Peterson, has been the on-going President of the chapter for all that time, but she stepped down officially at the end of the luncheon and was recognized in a special ceremony.
Before leaving office Elizabeth recognized me with a beautiful poinsettia. So sweet!
The theme this year was Love Came Down and I won a raffle ticket for a ” love” tree ornament.
I combined two stories this year ( Falling Leaves and Shining Stars) and told how it is the love that nature provides every day of the year that exemplifies God’s love for us. Case in point… just about all my leaves have fallen off the pear tree now but I am in no hurry for Jeff to rake them up… in my eyes God’s Christmas decorations just makes my yard more beautiful.
Out of nowhere I pictured ” bottles or jars” of love. Everyone around the world got one each Christmas Day. When one opened the cap… a wisp of love, enveloped him or her so completely it transformed love into pure delight.
But there was one important warning on the bottle or jar… if only used on the recipient… by the recipient… love would quickly dissipate long before the next Christmas. The only way to keep enough love in the bottle until the next Christmas was to give it away… every time the love was shared with another… the level rose accordingly.
So until tomorrow… love conquers all… so be not afraid. And perhaps before we call out Merry Christmas this year… we pause to add ” I see your heart…. Merry Christmas!”
Today is my favorite day… Winnie the Pooh
A beautiful concept for love. I’ll do my best to spread it.
You already do Beth!!!!!🤶🧑🏻🎄🎄

Love the story today…and your pillows and the quilt. I am reading the book at FES on Tuesday. I have my little tiny Ruthie to show them…think you gave it to me…❤🎄❤
